WHO OR WHAT IS MERAKI?

Tell us more about Meraki!

Nathan: Meraki is a collective of keyboard enthusiasts, content creators, creatives and beyond. Some of us have other interests and hobbies as well, but we all came together with the initial common love & passion for keyboards.

What sparked the idea behind Meraki?

Tim: There have always been individuals that trail-blazed the community, and all of their work to this point defines how we operate as a culture and as content creators. We hope Meraki stands to be the first stream team on the Twitch platform to centralize information in a way that is both easy to navigate for newer enthusiasts as well as be informative to veterans in the community.

What are some of the goals?

Nathan: Our end goal is for Meraki to be the destination for not just keyboards, but for other product-driven interests as well. As a result, Meraki will be not only a stream team but also as a lifestyle brand that touches upon various cultures.

Why the name Meraki?

Tim: We were seeking for a single word that would carry out our true intention and would encompass all of our ideals into a single word. Patty aka XXW aka cracked chicken suggested Meraki since it defines who we are: Meraki (adj.) – Doing something with soul, creativity, or love - when you put "something of yourself" into what you're doing, whatever it may be.

How did you choose the members?

Tim: Each member has been chosen not only due to their knowledge in keyboards, but also their ability to communicate complicated ideas into digestible information. We as a collective strive to be ambassadors for the community, and aim to expand its reach through our diverse content and relatable personalities.

Any leaks?

Nathan: We’ll be rolling out a few content series with ones that include the whole team, and others that will focus on individual members of the team as well. There have been talks about doing some pretty cool merch but.. I won’t spoil too much right now haha! Can’t wait to share with everyone what we have coming up in the coming months!!
